While bringing Daisy to life, my research journey led me to immerse myself in the captivating era of the 1920s and the Art Deco movement. What truly struck me about this period was the masterful utilization of geometric lines in architectural design, resulting in opulent and awe-inspiring structures.
In addition to architectural influence, I found myself enamored with the intricate embellishments and craftsmanship of the dresses in that era. These details, meticulously applied, endowed the garments with a remarkable duality, rendering them both gracefully fluid but elegantly statuesque.
Daisy is a modern take on a dress that embodies the harmonious fusion of these inspirations, while channeling the timeless allure of 1920s fashion. It's a testament to the grandeur of an era that celebrated design, opulence, and the extraordinary.
Sewn using couture techniques, this dress is complete with asymmetrical lace appliqué,
geometric seam lines, and 7 gores for extra volume in the skirt.
